We currently have a Windows based system that works well but requires too much manual entry on our end and doesn’t allow for remote access. We want the new system to take us out of the data entry loop and allow us to manage the system remotely. This would include the customers entering customer and pet information but not being able to modify it after it was entered, entering overnight boarding reservation or cancellations. We also have a waiver that needs to be approved on sign up.
We may also sell this to other pet services by charging monthly by screens used. All screens would have the ability to show the full program but be permission based by function.
The current signup process requires the customer to go to our website www.TexasDoggieDaycare.com and enter their information on a form I set up and then it gets emailed to us through a gmail account. We then manually re-enter the information into the Pet database.They then send the pet vet records to us to show proof of shot records and other pet info which we have to also manually enter into the Pet database. Overnight reservations are the same. From the website the request gets enteren on a form and is emailed to us which we then enter into a calendar book. This is very time intensive and error prone. The one thing I like about the gmail account is it allows us to search old records…
